These books are quick and easy to read. The relationship will make you rage much of the time. The crime/mystery aspect of the books is not firmed up enough for me. too often the author wants you to just believe what she is writing-that the police dept and the FBI are all idiots for instance. I think the crime story should have been fleshed out better in all 4 books. This, the 3rd book, was the least likable.
